Lyon is a city that is well known for its charm and its riches. The ancient Gallic capital of France has conserved its beautiful heritage, and boasts a number of UNESCO World Heritage sites, including: the Vieux Lyon district, the slopes of the Croix-Rousse, the Presqu'île, Fourvière and its Basilica. There are also several remnants of the Roman Empire. Despite its 2,000 years of history, Lyon also boasts many green spaces where you can revitalise yourself, including the Tête d'Or Park and its Zoo, which is free to enter.
